Fuuka

After moving to Tokyo with his sisters while their father is sent overseas for work, Yuu Haruna tries to settle into a new school and a new routine. One evening, distracted by his Twitter feed on a quick trip out for dinner, he collides with a blunt high school girl who immediately assumes the worst—accusing him of taking upskirt photos, smashing his phone, and leaving him stunned on the pavement.

The girl turns out to be Fuuka Akitsuki, a classmate at Yuu’s new school, and she stands out in more ways than one: Fuuka doesn’t even carry a cellphone, preferring a CD player for her music. As their paths keep crossing, Yuu and Fuuka grow closer and, alongside friends, choose to start a band and take their first steps toward the professional music world—reshaping what Yuu’s Tokyo life might become.
