Revisions

A message addressed to Daisuke Dojima foretells that five people will face overwhelming enemies—and that he alone can protect everyone. Now a second-year high school student, Daisuke was once abducted as a child, an event that still shadows him and ties him closely to his childhood friends Gai, Lu, Marimari, and Keisaku.

Their lives are upended by the “Shibuya Drift,” a strange phenomenon that hurls the group to the heart of Shibuya more than 300 years into the future. In place of the city they knew lies a landscape of wilderness and scattered ruins, inhabited by future people and stalked by colossal mechanical monsters known as “Revisions.” As they struggle to survive, a girl named Milo—sharing the name of the person who saved Daisuke during his abduction—appears with a mobile suit called “String Puppet” and urges them to save Shibuya, setting them on a divided, perilous path toward reclaiming their original time.
