Synopsis
Gen Kudou, a craftsman who makes koto, is convinced his delinquent grandson Chika could never grasp the depth of the traditional instrument. After his grandfather’s death, Chika tries to confront that misunderstanding by applying to the Tokise High School Koto Club, hoping to understand the words left behind.
The club may be desperate for members, but president Takezou Kurata hesitates to accept someone with Chika’s reputation. As Chika’s sincerity becomes clear, Takezou agrees to bring him in—soon joined by koto prodigy Satowa Houzuki and three of Chika’s lively friends. Together, they work toward a shared goal: reaching the national competition.
