“Tsurune” is the clear note a bowstring makes as an arrow is released—the sound that first drew Minato Narumiya to kyudo, the modern Japanese martial art of archery. After a troubling incident at his final middle school tournament, Minato walks away from the sport and leaves that sound behind.

High school quietly pulls him back in: Kazemai High forms a new kyudo club, Minato crosses paths with a mysterious archer, and his childhood friends Seiya Takehaya and Ryouhei Yamanouchi refuse to let him face things alone. Joined by new teammates Kaito Onogi and Nanao Kisaragi, Minato returns to the range, rebuilding his connection to kyudo as the team sets its sights on the prefectural tournament.
