After transferring schools, Mizuki Hijiri hopes for an ordinary, uneventful student life—until she crosses paths with the notorious Hero Club. The club’s members are boys deep in their own brands of chuunibyou: Yamato Noda styles himself a justice-driven hero who uses his athleticism to help and protect others, Kazuhiro Nakamura insists he’s the reincarnation of “Touga Ryushouin” born from a forbidden demon-angel union, Tomoki Takashima is a handsome otaku devoted to his one true love—2D heroine Sora—and Rei Tsukumo operates as the group’s quiet schemer, manipulating things from the shadows.

Pulled into the club as its newest member, Hijiri finds her idea of “normal” slipping further away by the day. Even so, beneath the over-the-top roleplay and grandiose claims, the Hero Club’s camaraderie is genuine—and getting involved with their fantasies turns her school days into something far more lively than she ever planned.
