When a crisis hits, the World Welfare Work Association (WWWA) dispatches elite “Trouble Consultants” to handle the job. These agents are trained to resolve problems quickly and decisively—often in the far reaches of a sci-fi future where the stakes can be high.

But when the assignment goes to the infamous Dirty Pair, success tends to come with a catch. Their missions do get completed, yet the aftermath often includes an alarming amount of unintended destruction, earning them a reputation as effective operatives with spectacular collateral damage.
