Magical Destroyers

In 2008, Japan’s government launches a crackdown on anyone who identifies as an otaku, claiming it’s necessary to preserve the nation’s culture. Within a week, the enforcement unit known as the SSC rounds up nearly all otaku by force and seizes their collections and memorabilia. Refusing to accept the purge, a determined man calling himself Otaku Hero forms a resistance made up of displaced fans fighting to protect what they love.

Three years later, with the rebellion’s momentum fading and hope running thin, Otaku Hero presses on with the help of a magical girl ally, Anarchy. Together they set out to reunite her with the remaining two magical girls, Blue and Pink—believing that the trio’s combined power could finally turn the tide against the SSC and restore otaku culture.
