When his father is transferred for work, first-year high schooler Koutarou Satomi suddenly has to live on his own—and fast. He takes the irresistible deal at Corona House: Room 106 for just 5,000 yen a month. The bargain stays sweet until a shift at his part-time job leads him to a strange underground cave, and the quiet apartment life he expected begins to unravel.

Before long, Koutarou’s tiny room becomes contested territory. A ghost named Sanae Higashihongan insists she’s the rightful occupant, while magical girl Yurika, alien princess Theiamillis Gre Fortorthe, and Kiriha Kurano—descended from the Earth People—each arrive with their own claim and refuse to yield. As the standoff escalates into comedic clashes and romantic school-life complications, even the building’s seemingly pleasant landlady feels like part of the chaos surrounding Room 106.
