Synopsis

Samurai Raizou Kurima is deceived into killing the man who was to become his father-in-law, and the weight of that mistake leaves him consumed by guilt. Determined to restore his honor, he sets his sights on the lord responsible for the false orders that led him astray. His path soon crosses with Yuuen Usui, a smooth-talking “merchant-of-all-trades” who is secretly part of the Revengers—assassins who exact violent retribution in the name of those who have been wronged.

Drawn into their shadowy work, Raizou finds himself acting as a vigilante alongside the Revengers, only for misfortune to follow at every turn.
