Synopsis

Set in 1931, Japan remains under Tokugawa rule in the 64th year of the Meiji era. With exclusive control of the newly unearthed “Dragon Vein,” the government steers the nation into a technologically advanced Edo, while an elite execution unit known as Nue works in the shadows to protect the Shogunate from the rebel organization Kuchinawa.

By day, Sawa Yukimura quietly manages the Tsuyukasa Bookshop. Privately, she is driven by revenge against the man who wiped out her tribe and family.
