The Cat Returns

High schooler Haru Yoshioka is tired of her ordinary routine until a sudden act of kindness changes everything: she rescues Lune, a prince of the Cat Kingdom, from an oncoming truck. The Cat King responds with lavish “gifts” and an invitation that quickly turns into an unexpected engagement offer—one Haru never meant to accept, but can’t seem to explain to her feline admirers.

Searching for a way out, Haru is guided by a mysterious voice to the Cat Bureau, only to be swept away to the Cat Kingdom alongside one of the bureau’s members. Baron Humbert von Gikkingen, the bureau’s enigmatic owner, pursues them in concern as Haru becomes increasingly entangled in the kingdom’s customs—and begins to change herself. With time running short before she becomes a cat forever, Haru must hold onto her true identity and find the courage to return home on her own terms.
