Universal Century 0096—three years after Char Aznable’s failed bid to force humanity’s migration into space—life in the Earth Sphere carries on under uneasy calm. At Side 4, 16-year-old Banagher Links spends his days quietly among his classmates, far from the political struggles that have shaped the colonies.

That changes when Audrey Burne, the last heir of a once-tyrannical family, arrives seeking the key to “Laplace’s Box,” a mysterious object rumored to hold the power to alter the course of the universe. Determined to keep it out of the hands of the Sleeves—the remaining faction of Char’s Neo-Zeon—Audrey’s search draws her to Side 4, where a chance encounter with Banagher pulls him into a conflict he never expected.

When the Sleeves strike the colony, led by fighters such as Marida Cruz and Full Frontal, Banagher is forced into action. Taking the controls of the newly constructed Gundam Unicorn, he fights to protect those around him while the struggle over Laplace’s Box threatens the future of humankind.
