Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team

Universal Century 0079: after the Earth Federation’s successful Operation Odessa to reclaim a key city in Ukraine, Zeon’s remaining units splinter and retreat across the globe. With momentum shifting in the One Year War, Federation ground forces are dispatched worldwide to track down and eliminate the scattered holdouts.

Ensign Shiro Amada is reassigned to Southeast Asia to lead the 08th MS Team, a dedicated unit of RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type pilots. During an early guerrilla mission meant to draw Zeon attention while Federation troops search for a secret new weapon, Shiro unexpectedly crosses paths with Aina Sahalin—an elite Zeon pilot he encountered in a previous battle. The meeting shakes his commitment to the fight, forcing him to navigate the line between personal conviction and military duty under the constant threat of being labeled a traitor.
