Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honneamise

Shirotsugh “Shiro” Lhadatt serves as a cadet in the Kingdom of Honneamise’s Royal Space Force, a neglected program in a world where no one has ever reached space. Dismissed by the public and sidelined by leaders more focused on escalating tensions with a neighboring nation than on scientific progress, Shiro drifts without direction—until a chance encounter after a fellow cadet’s funeral introduces him to Riquinni Nonderaiko, a devout young woman whose sincere belief in spaceflight leaves a lasting impression.

Drawn together over time, Riquinni’s earnest support pushes Shiro to step forward as pilot for an ambitious rocket project that could make him the first person from Honneamise to leave the planet. Joined by a small group of aging yet passionate scientists and engineers, the RSF struggles to turn a long-mocked dream into reality. Their renewed momentum, however, attracts government attention for reasons that have little to do with exploration, forcing Shiro and his companions to pursue the sky with determination even as political forces close in.
