Kamisama Dolls

After moving to Tokyo, Kyouhei hopes to put his hometown behind him. That illusion shatters when he comes across a blood-soaked corpse—an ominous sign that the life he tried to escape has followed him into the city.

In his village, Kyouhei was known as a “seki,” someone who can command a “kakashi”: an ancient wooden “god” capable of astonishing power through sheer force of will. With a kakashi now roaming Tokyo and its seki close by, Kyouhei is pulled back into the supernatural conflict he thought he’d left behind.
