In a near-future Tokyo shaped by dystopian realities, detective Shinjuurou Yuuki—dubbed by some the “Defeated Detective”—continues to take on baffling cases across the city. With a sharp eye for contradictions and a talent for unraveling killings in particular, he steadily exposes the truth behind one mystery after another.

At his side is Inga, an eccentric partner whose help proves as invaluable as it is unsettling. As suspects are identified and culprits brought to light, hints of Inga’s hidden agenda begin to surface, and the real nature of this assistant—and what they ultimately want from those Shinjuurou corners—remains cloaked in secrecy.
