Three months after the Lunar Attack that nearly brought about Earth’s end, Hibiki Tachibana, Tsubasa Kazanari, and Chris Yukine remain on the front lines against the Noise—an enigmatic extraterrestrial menace—by wielding Symphogear, battle armor powered through song. After protecting an American convoy from another assault, Hibiki and Chris hurry to the Queens of Music concert hall in time for Tsubasa’s performance.

Onstage, Tsubasa shares the spotlight with internationally acclaimed singer Maria Cadenzavna Eve in a show broadcast around the globe. The celebration is shattered when the Noise invade the venue, throwing the hall into turmoil. In the confusion, Maria announces war on the world as Finé’s successor, and her allies Kirika Akatsuki and Shirabe Tsukuyomi reveal Symphogear abilities of their own. A brief clash with Tsubasa’s team ends with the trio’s sudden withdrawal, leaving Hibiki and her friends searching for the truth behind their motives.
