Strange cards once rained from the sky, each able to call forth formidable creatures from another dimension. They quickly sparked a competitive craze known as Bakugan, complete with worldwide rankings that drew in children and teens eager to prove themselves.

But beyond the battles lies Vestroia—the Bakugan home world—locked in a struggle for control as the White Dragon Naga and his Doom Beings push the realm toward collapse. As dimensions begin to overlap, players on Earth discover that their favorite strategy game is tied to a very real conflict.

Danma Kuusou, an ambitious brawler chasing the top spot, witnesses a vision of Vestroia mid-match and soon encounters a powerful, talking Pyrus Bakugan: Dragonoid. Pulled into the widening crisis, Danma joins forces with the Bakugan Brawlers to cross between worlds and fight to restore balance.
