Amagi Brilliant Park

Seiya Kanie, a sharp but unabashedly self-absorbed high schooler, thinks the cool and composed Isuzu Sento is asking him out—only to be led to Amagi Brilliant Park, a shabby, struggling amusement park. The “date” turns out to be an interview: Sento and the park’s owner, Princess Latifa Fleuranza, want Seiya to take over as manager. With a land-use agreement hanging over them, Amagi has under three months to draw 500,000 visitors, or it will be shut down and the property handed over for redevelopment.

What convinces Seiya to stay is the park’s secret: its staff includes Maple Landers, magical residents living among humans who rely on the energy created when guests genuinely enjoy themselves. Given the responsibility of keeping their home and livelihood afloat, Seiya throws his talents into reviving Amagi Brilliant Park before time runs out.
