Mr. Osomatsu

The Matsuno home is dominated by six look-alike brothers, each with a distinct personality: Osomatsu, a selfish would-be ringleader; the “cool” and macho Karamatsu; levelheaded Choromatsu; cynical Ichimatsu; restless Juushimatsu; and the charming, coddled Todomatsu. All of them are already past 20, yet they remain proudly unmotivated, spending their days as unemployed shut-ins rather than pursuing work.

Whether they’re chasing romance or attempting to land a job, the brothers’ schemes rarely go smoothly—especially when their quirks sabotage the few chances they get, including the occasional interview. Mr. Osomatsu follows their offbeat everyday life as they stumble through bizarre misadventures and try, with limited success, to raise their status without falling apart as a set of sextuplets.
