Paradise Kiss

On her way home from school, Yukari Hayasaka is stopped by an intimidating-looking young man with bleached, spiky hair, piercings, and a spiked choker who openly appraises her as a potential model. Shaken, she bolts—only to collide with a striking, tall woman with purple hair and a flower motif near her eye. The shock leaves Yukari fainting, and she comes to in an unfamiliar studio known as the Atelier, surrounded by a group of fashion design students from the prestigious Yazawa Art Academy who want her to walk for their label in the academy’s upcoming show.

Yukari refuses and rushes out, accidentally leaving her school ID behind. When George Koizumi, the group’s lead designer, finds it, he becomes determined to bring her back—convinced she’s the perfect fit, and drawn to her personally. Pulled toward a world she once dismissed as superficial, Yukari begins to question what she wants from life as the Atelier’s passionate, eccentric creatives reshape her everyday routine.
