Pandora in the Crimson Shell

Aboard a cruise ship bound for the picturesque Cenancle Island, cheerful full-body cyborg Nene Nanakorobi—who earnestly dreams of world peace—meets the inventor Uzal Delilah. The two quickly hit it off, along with Uzal’s pet cyborg Clarion, a catlike combat android. After they separate, a terrorist incident on the island puts their budding bond to the test, and Uzal entrusts Nene with access to the Pandora Device housed within Clarion, granting her the ability to temporarily acquire extraordinary skills in a rapidly advancing world.

With Clarion at her side, Nene throws herself into a string of missions, from rescuing children during a shopping mall fire to taking on reckless thieves, all guided by her idealistic goal. Complicating matters is B.U.E.R., a sentient laser embodied as a deformed teddy bear whose lewd behavior and volatile power threaten their fragile peace—especially when Nene’s guardian, the brilliant inventor Takumi Korobase, develops a persistent fascination with it. As dangers mount and enemies close in, Nene and Clarion must protect what they care about without letting the strain tear their partnership apart.
