After a shoulder injury forces him to step away from judo, reserved first-year university student Haruki Bandou finally admits what he’s long felt: even with a family dojo behind him, the sport never brought him the satisfaction he was supposed to find. He’s caught off guard when his best friend, Kazuma Hashimoto, quits the university judo club as well—and not to rest, but to chase a bold new idea.

Kazuma sets his sights on forming an all-male cheerleading team at Meishiin University. Reluctant but unable to turn away, Haruki helps gather members and build the club that becomes the Breakers. As they train and perform, the group pushes through skepticism surrounding cheerleading, demanding physical routines, and their own lingering doubts while carving out a place for themselves on campus.
