Okko's Inn

Oriko "Okko" Seki's visit to her parents' quaint rural hometown for a festival takes an unexpected turn when tragedy strikes, leaving her to navigate life after the sudden loss of both her parents. Relocating to her grandmother's traditional hot springs inn, Okko is startled to find that she is not alone; the spirit of a playful, barefoot boy resides there, urging her to embrace her new role and carry on the family legacy.

As she grapples with the challenges of managing the inn and welcoming guests, Okko draws strength from the memories of her parents, who taught her the importance of hospitality. Throughout her journey, she encounters other spirits in the village, discovering that even in her grief, companionship can be found in unexpected places, allowing her to heal and grow amidst the shadows of the past.
