Fairy Gone

In a world where fairies inhabit animals and grant them uncanny powers, warfare has found a brutal shortcut. By extracting organs from a fairy-possessed beast and transplanting them into a human, a fairy can be called forth as an alter ego—turning the host into a living weapon. Those altered for battle became known as Fairy Soldiers, and when the war finally ended, many were left without a place in the peace that followed.

Nine years later, Mariya joins Dorothea, an organization tasked with investigating and shutting down crimes tied to fairies. With politics still unstable and old wounds refusing to heal, former soldiers and other survivors of the conflict splinter into different paths—some serving the state, others falling in with the underworld, and some embracing terrorism in pursuit of revenge. Fairy Gone follows these Fairy Soldiers as they clash over what justice means in a fractured postwar society.
