Japan, 2030: a contagion known as “Gibia” has swept across the world, transforming those it infects into monstrous forms that vary with a person’s age, sex, and race. The country lies in ruins as survivors struggle against an ever-growing threat.

From the early Edo period, a samurai and a ninja are thrust through time into this devastated future. Joining forces with a professor racing to develop a cure, they cut a path through Gibia creatures, outlaws, and other deadly adversaries in a last-ditch effort to reclaim humanity’s future.
