Silver Fang

Born a brindle Akita, Gin—nicknamed “Silver” for his coat—is raised with the expectation that he’ll become a formidable bear-hunting dog. His path hardens when he witnesses his father’s death at the paws of Akakabuto, a man-eating bear feared like a demon, and Gin is singled out from his littermates to inherit his father’s role and end the threat hanging over their village.

As Akakabuto builds strength with allies of his own, Gin sets out across Japan to gather dogs willing to stand with him. The journey leads toward a full-scale clash where loyalty, survival, and resolve are tested in a brutal war between dogs and bear.
