Stray Cats Overrun!

Takumi Tsuzuki attends Umenomori Private Academy tuition-free, sharing his days with Fumino Serizawa, his childhood friend who rarely says what she truly means. School life is rarely peaceful: Chise Umenomori, the board chairman’s granddaughter and a spoiled “princess,” constantly drags him into her offbeat hobbies. After classes, Takumi heads to the “Stray Cats” confectionery, the cake shop run by his adoptive older sister, Otome, before settling into the same familiar routine.

That routine starts to wobble when Otome leaves the shop to help someone in need, and Fumino steps in to make sure Takumi doesn’t miss their usual walk to school—an awkward morning that includes an unintended glimpse of her blue-and-white striped underwear. When Otome returns, she brings home Nozomi Kiriya, a runaway girl whose look and behavior bring a big cat to mind. With Nozomi suddenly in the picture, Takumi’s everyday life gives way to lively confusion as he tries to figure out who she is and what she’s fleeing from.
