Momiji leads an ordinary life until she learns she carries the blood of the Kushinada family. That heritage makes her the crucial key to confronting the Aragami—demonic, plant-like creatures whose emergence threatens Japan.

With the support of the TAC, Momiji is drawn into a dangerous struggle steeped in myth and the supernatural. Fighting alongside her is the young man Kusanagi, whose presence brings both strength to the mission and the possibility of romance amid the escalating mystery and horror.
