This Boy Can Fight Aliens

An unexpected alien invasion pushes Earth to the brink, leaving its resistance to a tiny, three-person unit: the Special Counter-Aliens Task Force. The group operates under an unseen director and is carried by two very different agents—Shiro, harsh and domineering, and Arikawa, relaxed and approachable.

Their situation shifts when Arikawa discovers a lone teenage boy on a hill. The boy, Kakashi, may be the one weapon capable of turning the tide, possessing a power no one knew existed. Yet he wakes with no memories and no idea how to control what he can do, holding tight to Arikawa and Shiro while clinging to the last fragment of his past: a shattered cellphone.

As fear and uncertainty press in, Kakashi begins to question what drives him and whether he can shoulder the role forced upon him. With the invasion escalating, his struggle to face his own doubts becomes inseparable from humanity’s fight to survive.
