Shougo Yahagi spends his days chasing speed on his motorcycle in a city steeped in hard rock and J-pop idol culture. Life seems comfortable for most people, quietly guided by a computer system that appears to them as the wildly popular idol Eve—without the public realizing what she really is. Shougo’s priorities are simpler, especially when he crosses paths with Yui Takanaka, a young woman determined to make it as a dancer.

Everything shifts when Shougo’s friend Shinji Nakagawa reveals a classified prototype known as the Garland: a cutting-edge bike capable of transforming into a robot. A military assault forces Shougo to take the Garland and flee, drawing Yui and her friends into a dangerous chase through the city. As he stays one step ahead of his pursuers, Shougo begins to uncover the unsettling truth behind the peaceful world he thought he knew.
