Kemonozume

For centuries, Shokujinki have hidden in plain sight among humans. Outwardly indistinguishable, they can erupt into feral, clawed beasts driven to feed on human flesh. Standing against them in the shadows is the Kifuuken dojo, a covert group trained to hunt Shokujinki by severing their arms—the one barrier keeping their predation from spreading unchecked.

Toshihiko Momota, heir to the Kifuuken’s leadership, is captivated by the enigmatic Yuka Kamitsuki, only for their growing bond to be threatened by a cruel twist of fate: Yuka is a Shokujinki, and Toshihiko has been raised to kill her. As Kazuma, Toshihiko’s brother, challenges long-held customs and attempts to reshape the dojo for a changing world, loyalties fracture and buried truths surface—leaving love, duty, and survival on a collision course.
