Desert Punk

In the scorched expanse of the Great Kanto Desert, post-apocalyptic Japan has been reduced to endless sand and crumbling ruins. Most people scrape by in the harsh dunes, but for the hardened and heat-baked, the wasteland can also be a place to build a reputation—and profit from it.

Among them is the masked fixer known as Sunabouzu, “Desert Punk,” infamous for taking any job and seeing it through no matter how dirty, dangerous, or expensive it gets. Sharp-minded and ruthless, he leaves a trail of rough-edged chaos in his wake. Yet Junko Asagiri, the “Vixen of the Desert,” learns he has an exploitable flaw: he’s easily led astray by his overwhelming weakness for voluptuous women. Their misadventures draw in an eccentric lineup of desert dwellers, where crude comedy, violence, and perversion collide under a sun that never seems to let up.
