Girls Beyond the Wasteland

*Girls Beyond the Wasteland* follows Buntarou Hojo, a high schooler with a gift for writing but little sense of where he wants to go next. His classmate Sayuki Kuroda spots his potential and pushes him toward a more concrete path by bringing him into her bishoujo game development group.

After an awkward ambush in the school’s men’s bathroom, Buntarou mistakes Sayuki’s invitation for a date—only to learn it’s actually a job interview. He agrees despite his hesitation, and the pair begin gathering additional members for their team, discovering that making games can be as much about finding direction as it is about building a project.
