Raised at a shrine orphanage, Ouri Kagami has grown used to death being uncomfortably close. Still, nothing prepares him for the moment he witnesses the orphanage’s patron, Keisei Tagami, apparently bring back the badly scarred body of a schoolgirl—Makina Hoshimura.
