Do It Yourself!!

In a world reshaped by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, classrooms increasingly favor sleek, cutting-edge technology over traditional skills. Childhood friends Serufu Yua and Miku “Purin” Suride both aim for the elite Yuyu Girls’ Vocational High School, but only the tech-minded Purin is admitted. Clumsy, accident-prone Serufu is turned away and enrolls at the more old-fashioned Gatagata Girls’ High School instead, straining the bond between them.

After a bicycle mishap on the way to school, Serufu is helped by Rei Yasaku, a fellow student with a love for hands-on craftsmanship. Rei leads Gatagata’s Do-It-Yourself Club—an activity on the verge of shutting down due to too few members. Hoping that making things together might help mend her friendship with Purin, Serufu joins the club, where new members and new projects gradually turn building simple crafts into building lasting connections.
