Witch Watch

Long ago, some witches took familiars who could assume human form as spouses, creating a bloodline of ogres. Morihito Otogi is one of their descendants—outwardly an ordinary boy, yet still gifted with the unnatural strength of his lineage. His childhood friend, the young witch Nico Wakatsuki, once left for the Witches’ Holy Land as part of her training, and the two were separated for years.

On the eve of Morihito’s first year of high school, Nico returns with a clear intention: to make him her familiar. Unlike the usual cats or bats, she’s chosen Morihito—an attachment that runs deeper than she readily admits. With Morihito’s parents away, the pair begin living together, and though he’s hesitant, he takes on the responsibility of helping Nico readjust to everyday life while guarding her from a looming, foretold danger.
