Digimon Tamers

Ten-year-old Takato Matsuda spends his days battling friends with the Digimon card game and dreaming about the world it depicts. His routine changes when a strange blue card turns his card reader into a D-Ark Digivice, which then scans his own sketches of an original Digimon, Guilmon. Before long, a Digi-Egg appears and hatches into a living version of the creature Takato created.

The excitement quickly comes with responsibility as Guilmon’s energetic nature proves hard to hide and even harder to manage. Matters grow more complicated when Takato draws the attention of Ruki Makino, a driven tamer partnered with Renamon, who seeks strength by defeating other Digimon and taking their data. With help from classmate Li Jianliang and his outspoken partner Terriermon, Takato begins learning what it truly means to be a tamer.

As more dangerous enemies emerge, Takato must deepen his connection with Guilmon to defend both the human world and the Digital World.
