Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny

Cosmic Era 0071 opens with a mobile suit clash that devastates a neutral nation. Among the survivors is Shinn Asuka, who loses his family in the catastrophe and grows up convinced the Earth’s Naturals are to blame. Driven by grief and anger, he enlists in ZAFT, rising through the ranks until he’s chosen to pilot the prototype Impulse mobile suit.

Elsewhere, war veteran Athrun Zala serves alongside diplomat Cagalli Yula Athha as tensions reignite between Naturals and Coordinators—genetically engineered humans resented for their advantages. With another conflict looming, Athrun is pulled back into battle and becomes a guiding presence for the embittered Shinn, trying to temper his thirst for revenge before it overwhelms him.
