Samurai 7

In a far-off future on a world that may once have been called Earth, a brutal conflict leaves behind a fragile, hard-won peace—along with warriors who have fused their bodies with machines. Beyond the calm, rural communities still struggle to survive in the shadow of the Nobuseri, mechanized bandits who raid for supplies and people.

When Kanna Village is pushed to the brink by starvation and abductions, the farmers gamble everything on an old solution: hiring samurai for protection. Kirara, the village’s water priestess, travels with her younger sister Komachi and the grieving villager Rikichi to find fighters willing to accept payment in rice from a meager harvest. Their search gradually brings together seven samurai with different skills and backgrounds, setting the stage for a desperate stand against the bandits—and the merchants whose influence reaches further than it seems. Loosely inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s *Seven Samurai* (*Shichinin no Samurai*).
