Dragon Drive

Reiji Ozora has a reputation for giving up on just about everything—his enthusiasm fades fast, and he rarely sees anything through. That pattern finally breaks when his best friend Maiko gets him to try Dragon Drive, a cutting-edge virtual reality game where each player is paired with a dragon suited to their personality and potential.

Reiji dreams of being matched with an intimidating powerhouse, but ends up with Chibi, a small, cute, and unexpectedly friendly dragon who’s even shorter than he is. The disappointment doesn’t last: Chibi turns out to be exceptionally rare, and Reiji finds himself more motivated than ever as he trains alongside his new partner.
