Synopsis
After competing in the Johto League, Satoshi sets off on a fresh journey with Pikachu, heading to the Houen region on his own. That plan doesn’t last long: 10-year-old Haruka joins the trip after Pikachu wrecks her bicycle. Despite her dislike of Pokémon, she’s determined to travel and see the world for herself.
Before long, familiar company returns as Takeshi reunites with Satoshi, and Haruka’s younger brother Masato comes along as well. Together, they cross Houen taking on Gym Leaders, participating in contests, and diving into the many events that lead them toward the Houen League.
