Synopsis
On the way to the entrance ceremony at Sainotama Girls’ High School, Akane Kikuchi reflects on her childhood ambition of becoming a manga artist—and how little she’s done to make it happen. Arriving on campus, she’s reunited with her two closest friends in the same class: the stoic, expressionless Shiori Saginomiya and the loud, impulsive Nozomu Tanaka. Tanaka quickly realizes an inconvenient truth: an all-girls school isn’t exactly ideal for her long-held goal of becoming popular with boys and landing a boyfriend.
Determined to fix that, she starts pestering classmates for introductions to their male friends, only to discover a room full of unforgettable personalities. From a girl who dotes on her grandmother to a shut-in chuunibyou and an excessively analytical would-be stalker, Tanaka assigns each of them a nickname that highlights their quirks.
