Natsu Iwashimizu expects an ordinary day—time with friends, family, or a boyfriend—until she wakes to pounding rain, a violent storm, and a sinking boat shared with five strangers. With no clear explanation and danger closing in, survival becomes the only immediate priority.

The truth is even harsher: humanity is gone. A small remnant of Japan has been divided into five teams, selected to be sent far into the future in the hope of restarting the species. Most of the chosen have practical strengths—combat training, specialized knowledge, or technical skills—while Natsu is a timid high school girl who can barely force her voice above a whisper. Thrown into an unforgiving world, she must rely on the group as they push toward a destination known as the “Seven Fuji,” where answers and safety may—or may not—await.
