Tenchi Muyo! Tenchi Universe

Tenchi Masaki’s quiet life takes a sharp turn when the ship of the notorious space pirate Ryouko Hakubi is shot down and crashes near his family’s shrine. After Tenchi helps her, a chain reaction begins—before long, a string of extraordinary visitors from across the galaxy end up under his roof. Among them are Princess Aeka of Jurai and her spirited younger sister Sasami, the absentminded Galaxy Police detective Mihoshi Kuramitsu and her far more reliable partner Kiyone Makibi, and the brilliant yet unpredictable scientist Washuu Hakubi.

As the household grows, everyday life on Earth becomes a constant clash between ordinary customs and off-world habits, leaving Tenchi caught in the middle of misunderstandings and chaos. Even so, living alongside them draws Tenchi closer to each of the women, and those connections gradually push him toward a clearer sense of the larger place he holds in the universe.
