Ranen
Editor, Otaku Insider
Ranen is the anime-obsessed fan who started Otaku Den as a better way to track his ever-growing watchlist and share recommendations with his sister. What began as a family project grew into a platform for the whole anime community.
As editor of Otaku Insider, Ranen picks the stories worth covering, sets the angle for every article, and reviews each piece before it's published. He's happiest deep in a seasonal watchlist, arguing about power systems, and finding the shows everyone will be talking about next.
How Otaku Insider articles are made
Ranen chooses the stories, sets the angle, and reviews every article before it goes live. AI helps with drafting and research along the way. Read our full editorial policy for the details.
